Doug Schlegel earned his B. D. from City Seminary of Sacramento, and was licensed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ by the Western Classis, RCUS in 2010. He served as an elder at Covenant Reformed Church, Sacramento from 1992 until beginning full-time labors at Providence Reformed Church in Lodi, California in 2011. Doug married his high school sweetheart and faithful help-meet Cheryl in 1982 and they have four adult children. Doug's hobbies include reading history and rooting for his favorite baseball team. He currently lives in Sacramento.
