Eric D. Bristley is a minister in the Reformed Church in the United States and Covenant Reformed Church in Grass Valley as Associate Pastor. He teaches for City Seminary in Sacramento where he is as an adjunct professor in the field of apologetics and Christian education. He also serves on the board of directors for Westminster Biblical Missions where he helps promote its missions fields.
James Isaac Good (1850 - 1924) was an American/German Reformed church pastor and historian, born at York, Pennsylvania. He graduated at Lafayette College in 1872 and at Union Theological Seminary in 1875. For thirty years (1875-1905), he served as a pastor in Pennsylvania. Later, he held a position at Ursinus School of Theology and then at Central Theological Seminary (Dayton, Ohio). He was elected president of the General Synod of the Reformed Church in the United States.
Wayne C. Johnson is the editor of Leben Magazine. He serves as an elder at Sacramento Covenant Reformed Church (RCUS) and as a member of the Board of Governors of City Seminary of Sacramento. He is president of The Wayne Johnson Agency, a political consulting firm, and has a degree in history from Purdue University.
Jacob Helffenstein was the last of a long line of Helffensteins who had served in the German Reformed Church ministry since its earliest colonial days. He was licensed and ordained in 1825 by the German Reformed Church and became pastor at Frederick, Maryland. In 1838 he served as pastor at Chambersburg and Fayetteville, Pennsylvania, where he remained until called to the Reformed Church at Germantown, PA. His warning against Mercersburg theology went unheeded, resulting in the withdrawal of the Germantown congregation from the German Reformed Church. All of the Helffensteins still active in the ministry also tendered their resignations in the German Reformed Church, a move which strengthened the hand of the Mercersburg theology over the Church.
A twenty-year veteran of public affairs, marketing and political campaigns, Kurt Snow serves as Communications and Media Director for The Wayne Johnson Agency, a political consulting firm in Sacramento. He oversees electronic media placement, supervises art direction and production of all client marketing materials, advertising, and collateral.
Mr. Snow also is Leben's layout designer, and oversees the production of the magazine. He serves on the Board of City Seminary and as a deacon at Covenant Reformed Church in Sacramento, CA.
John Piper is the Pastor for Preaching at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, and studied at Wheaton College, where he first sensed God's call to enter the ministry. He went on to earn degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary (B.D.) and the University of Munich (D.theol.). For six years he taught Biblical Studies at Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and in 1980 accepted the call to serve as pastor at Bethlehem. John and his wife, Noel, have four sons, one daughter, and an increasing number of grandchildren.

Tom also serves on the Board of Governors of City Seminary, and as an elder at Covenant Reformed Church of Sacramento.
Greg Uttinger has been teaching systematic and biblical theology to high school students for 25 years. He has written web and print articles for the Chalcedon Foundation and a number of handbooks on theology, history, and literature. He currently teaches at Cornerstone Christian school in Roseville, California. Greg, his lovely wife Kate, and their three adorable little girls live in nearby Sacramento.
Dr. Joel R. Beeke is president and professor of systematic theology and homiletics at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, a pastor of the Heritage Netherlands Reformed Congregation in Grand Rapids, Michigan, editor of Banner of Sovereign Grace Truth, editorial director of Reformation Heritage Books, president of Inheritance Publishers, and vice-president of the Dutch Reformed Translation Society.
Barbara Wertheim Tuchman (January 30, 1912 – February 6, 1989) was an American self-trained historian and author. She became best known for top-selling book The Guns of August, a history of the prelude and first month of World War I which won the Pulitzer Prize for General Non-Fiction.
As an author, Tuchman focused on producing popular history. Her clear, dramatic storytelling covered topics as diverse as the 14th century and World War I, and sold millions of copies.
Doug Schlegel earned his B. D. from City Seminary of Sacramento, and was licensed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ by the Western Classis, RCUS in 2010. He served as an elder at Covenant Reformed Church, Sacramento from 1992 until beginning full-time labors at Providence Reformed Church in Lodi, California in 2011. Doug married his high school sweetheart Cheryl in 1982 and they have four adult children. Doug's hobbies include reading history and rooting for his favorite baseball team. He currently lives in Sacramento.
Dr. Walker is the professor of Historical Theology at City Seminary of Sacramento. He also serves as the associate pastor of Covenant Reformed Church in Sacramento.
Dr. Powell has vast experience in Christian primary and secondary education and has lectured extensively on Christian education. An ordained minister in the Reformed Church in the United States, he served eighteen years as found and headmaster of Northstate Schools and University in Anderson, CA, while pasturing Faith Reformed Church. He was also a Bible and math instructor at Evangelical Christian Academy in Colorado Springs, CO, for several years and has served as pastor of Trinity Covenant Church since it was founded in 1986 at Colorado Springs.
Jonathan Aitken is a well-known British author and former politician. He was a Member of Parliament for twenty-three years, serving in the Cabinet as Chief Secretary to the Treasury and also as Minister of State for Defense. His political career ended when he pleaded guilty to charges of perjury as a result of having told a lie on oath in a civil libel lawsuit. During an eighteen-month prison stay, he converted to Christ. He is president of Christian Solidarity Worldwide, a director of Prison Fellowship International, and executive director of The Trinity Forum in Europe. He is the author of twelve books, including the award-winning Nixon: A Life and Charles W. Colson: A Life Redeemed.
